In 2013, a vision came to life, and Rebecca's Private Idaho was created. This experience, and the inspiration it produced for people of all types to challenge each other and themselves to succeed at doing more than they perhaps thought they could is now a lasting legacy of Rebecca Rusch.

It's suprising, but not surprising that nearly a week has already passed since we were last together in Sun Valley, Baker Creek, Dollarhide Summit, Frenchman's Hot Spring, Trail Creek, Copper Basin, and the Big Lost River Valley below Idaho's tallest mountain: Borah Peak. Now, we look ahead to what's next, what's in store for 2027...

The only constant we're truly familiar with is change, and it is largely what inspired the choice of symbolism you see before you for representing this event's new name: The Big Lost. The delta symbol that will visually describe The Big Lost symbolizes the event's three stages, the structure of our mountains, the Big Lost River that appears, and then disappears, and the historic change we have just undergone. The greatest of meaning for us was born from the simplest shape. We hope you like it.

Registration for the Big Lost will open in "a little while".... As you can imagine, there's a lot of work to do to change 14 years of names, logos, and links.
